    Responsibilities

    The Clinical Staff Educator will be responsible for working in collaboration with all facility department directors in the orientation and education of staff to ensure all mandatory and regulatory education requirements are met within the facility. The Clinical Staff Educator is also responsible for directing the facility's Quality Assessment and Assurance Program.

    Qualifications

    Position Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
    • 1+years nursing supervision in the long term care setting.
    • Educator in nursing practices
    • Active licensed Registered Nurse in Maryland
    • Certified Instructor for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
    • Certification in Gerontology or Education by American Nurses Credentialing Center- desirable
    • Holds membership in professional education and nursing associations - desirable
